The Greens have released their final election pitch: a promise to create more than a quarter of a million jobs.
The minor party's federal leader Richard Di Natale spent Friday in Melbourne championing the hopes of his candidates and revealing an employment plan.
"The 270,000 jobs is an average over each year, additional to the jobs that are created under the government's plan," he said.
The renewable energy sector would offer 180,000 of those roles, largely as part of the Greens' plan to reach 100 per cent renewable energy by 2030, including at least 8000 through mine site rehabilitation.
The remainder of the party's figures rely on pledges including a nature fund to fight species extinction and a federal housing trust to build 500,000 public and community homes.

The Greens have high hopes ahead of Saturday's federal poll, including a chance at winning the blue-ribbon Melbourne seat of Higgins where Liberal Industrial Relations Minister Kelly O'Dwyer has decided not to recontest.
The minor party also fancies its chances in Kooyong, where it would need to topple Treasurer Josh Frydenberg.
November's Victoria election left the Greens worse off, with their upper house numbers down from five to just one.
The party's Higgins candidate Jason Ball said the Liberal party had taken the safe seat for granted for too long.
The Liberals have held Higgins since it was created in 1949, holding the seat with a 7.4 margin over the Greens in 2016.
"This is a seat that will turn Green at some point very soon," Senator Di Natale said.
