Natasha Griggs has conceded her Northern Territory seat of Solomon to Labor, saying a clear message has been sent by the electorate.

In a statement, the Country Liberals incumbent talked up her efforts securing funding for local hospitals and roads, as well as her decision to cross the floor against the construction of a nuclear waste facility near Tennant Creek.

"I ran the best campaign I could in difficult circumstances and I wish Luke Gosling well as Member for Solomon, which deserves strong and effective representation in Canberra," she said.
