Malcolm Turnbull will reveal what the government wants to do to Tasmania's GST payouts before the Braddon by-election.
The coalition is considering a Productivity Commission review of the GST formula, but has yet to commit to releasing it publicly before the Super Saturday by-elections on July 28.
"We will certainly make it clear what our position is with respect to Tasmania before Super Saturday," Mr Turnbull told LAFM radio in Launceston on Tuesday.
