Guccione's doubles tennis final suspended

Chris Guccione and Andre Sa lost the first set of the Nastase Tiriac doubles tennis final, before rain led to the suspension of the match.

The Nastase Tiriac Trophy doubles final was suspended on Sunday because of rain, after Florin Mergea and Horia Tecau won the first set against Australian Chris Guccione and Andre Sa 7-5. The match will restart on Monday.

The singles final between unseeded Lucas Pouille and Fernando Verdasco scheduled for Sunday has subsequently been postponed.

The final will now be played on Monday, with Pouille appearing in his first career ATP World Tour final and Verdasco seeking his seventh title.

Wednesday's matches had also been lost because of rain.
