A new video promoting the services that are available to help Indigenous people suffering from vision loss has been launched.
The inspiration behind the campaign is Aunty Mary Hooker, a Bundjalung woman who has impaired vision due to diabetic retinopathy.
She sought help from Guide Dogs New South Wales when her eyesight started to fade last year, undertaking one of its free training programs to learn how to use a cane to get around safely and independently.
