Guns, drugs found during tactical raid

Police have uncovered drugs, weapons and stolen vehicles during a raid on a home east of Brisbane and charged three people with more than 30 offences.

A man charged after allegedly being caught with drugs, guns and stolen cars will remain behind bars until his next court appearance.

The 35-year-old and his girlfriend, 17, both faced Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday after tactical police allegedly found a semi-automatic rifle, a sawn-off shotgun, three handguns, methylamphetamine, ammunition, gunpowder, cannabis and two stolen vehicles during a raid on their home at Cleveland, east of Brisbane, on Friday afternoon.

It's understood more than 100 grams of methylamphetamine was discovered along with lab equipment possibly used to manufacture drugs.

The man and woman were both charged with 15 drug, firearm and property offences.

During Saturday's brief court hearing, the 17-year-old was granted conditional bail while her boyfriend did not apply for release and was remanded in custody.

They are due to return to court on July 31.

A third man, 57, who was charged following the raid with producing drugs is due before Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 27.
