GWS star Kelly to miss AFL grudge match

GWS have lost star midfielder Josh Kelly because of concussion for Saturday's AFL fixture against Sydney.

GWS star Josh Kelly has been ruled out of Saturday's AFL finals-shaping grudge match against Sydney because of lingering effects from concussion.

Kelly, knocked out last Saturday in a tackle by Adelaide's Taylor Walker which earnt the Crows captain a two-game ban, is one of three changes for the Giants side to tackle the Swans.

Teammate Heath Shaw has suffered a season-ending knee injury while Sam Reid is also sidelined, and the Swans have lost injured duo Nick Smith and Alex Johnson, who requires a fifth knee reconstruction.
