Retired Test wicketkeeper Brad Haddin has joined the global T20 merry-go-round, announcing his intention to play in the inaugural Pakistan Super League.

Haddin, 37, joins 40-year-old Brad Hodge and a host of T20 specialists from around the world who will look to cash in on the tournament played in the United Arab Emirates next year.

Haddin announced his retirement from international cricket earlier this month, but said he would continue to play T20 cricket for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League.

The PSL confirmed Haddin's signing through social media.

Each of the five franchises will be able to select four international players in a draft.
