Indigenous model Samantha Harris made her runway debut at thirteen. Six years on, the coveted model dominated Australian Fashion Week, appearing in 18 designer shows.
It's been a busy week for the most recent Vogue Australia cover girl Samantha Harris who has appeared in back-to-back fashion shows for some of Australia's top designers.
“I've done so many,” Harris told SBS, between shows at Australian Fashion Week. “I've been in Alex Perry, Lisa Ho, Jayson Brunsdon, Kooey, Dion Lee.”

The popular model named Jayson Brunsdon as one of her favourite designers of the week.
Harris has come a long way since her runway debut at 13, which she admits was nerve-wracking and scary.
“I'm a bit more confident on the catwalk, which is good,” she says.
“I just walk to the music and try and have fun with it.”
The 19-year-old says she was overwhelmed to be featured on the cover of Vogue Australia to coincide with Australian Fashion Week.
“I couldn't believe they wanted me on the cover, it was just overwhelming.”
