Hawaii's Carissa Moore claims Bells Beach surfing crown

Hawaiian superstar Carissa Moore has successfully defended her Rip Curl Pro title, downing Australian Tyler Wright in a close final at Bells Beach.

In a repeat of last year's decider at Bells, Moore won by 16.23 points to 15.77.

Moore also moved into outright first spot in the 2014 title race.

The men's Rip Curl Pro title is also likely to be decided later today.
