Hawthorn have dropped Brendan Whitecross and Teia Miles among three changes for their massive Easter Monday AFL clash with Geelong.

The Hawks had already lost star midfielder Jaeger O'Meara with a knee injury.

Tim O'Brien, Blake Hardwick and Billy Hartung were recalled for the blockbuster.

Hawthorn are in major trouble after losing their first three games of the season.

They have not made a 0-4 start since 2005, coach Alastair Clarkson's first season in charge.
