Hayne back running, eyes Titans return

Jarryd Hayne has lifted spirits at the Gold Coast by returning to the training paddock for the injury-hit NRL club.

The NRL star has been sidelined since round two with an ankle complaint, joining a Titans injury list that now boasts 11 top line players.

Gold Coast coach Neil Henry said Hayne completed a field session on the weekend and would be monitored ahead of Saturday's clash with Cronulla.
