The former girlfriend of the man accused of killing Karlie Pearce-Stevenson has been questioned for a second time by detectives, but has not been charged with any offences.

Wheelchair-bound Hazel Passmore, 33, spent several hours at the Elizabeth Police Station on Monday after being questioned at length in the Adelaide Police Station on Friday.

Police confirmed the woman had been interviewed about the murders of Ms Pearce-Stevenson and Ms Pearce-Stevenson's daughter Khandalyce.

But they said she left the station on Monday afternoon and there had been no further arrests or charges since Daniel James Holdom, 41, was last week charged with murdering Ms Pearce-Stevenson.

The woman's body was discovered in Belanglo State Forest, south of Sydney, in 2010.

The bones of her two-year-old daughter, Khandalyce, were found with a suitcase dumped in the South Australian bush, southeast of Adelaide, in July.

Ms Passmore was first questioned after photos of Khandalyce Pearce were found on her Facebook page.

The page was disabled soon after but one photo pictured the blonde-haired child standing in an automotive display garage in front of a car with the hood propped open.

The photos were dated August 2008, several months before police believe the mother and daughter were killed.

Police last week revealed Ms Pearce-Stevenson's identity, bank account and mobile phone were used for years after her death to mislead family and defraud social services.

It was estimated up to $100,000 was taken from her bank account between 2008 and 2012.

A woman in a wheelchair also impersonated Ms Pearce-Stevenson in a Centrelink interview in 2010.
