Healthy Bunnies ready to bounce back

South Sydney are set to welcome back winger Robert Jennings from injury for Thursday's NRL clash with the Wests Tigers.

They're losing, but at least they're not hurting.

South Sydney are set to enter the final round of the regular season as the healthiest team in the top eight with winger Robert Jennings set to make a return from a hamstring injury.

Jennings completed his first full training session with the team on Tuesday since going down a month ago and is likely to be included for Thursday's clash with the Wests Tigers.

His comeback - on the back of Greg Inglis, Alex Johnston and Campbell Graham's return last week - mean the Rabbitohs will be at full strength heading into the finals series.

Jennings was the league's leading tryscorer before getting injured in round 20.

"He's been a great finisher and a lot of tough carries out of our own end in the first half of the year," teammate Angus Crichton said on Tuesday.

"We've had some great players come in and fill his position but to have him back would be a massive boost. He's done a few fitness sessions, trained with the team today and went alright."

Winger Campbell Graham said having a full-strength line-up would allow them to locate the form of their nine-game winning streak that thrust them to the top of the ladder.

"The boys who've been playing have been doing a good job for us there filling in, but obviously the more players you get back the better for us," Graham said.

"We're confident we can start getting back into the form we want heading into the finals."

A healthy roster is a huge boost for coach Anthony Seibold, who faces the challenge of ensuring his side avoid entering a qualifying final with a four-game losing streak.

Their upset loss to Canberra last week was the first time this year the Rabbitohs have dropped three games in succession.

But Crichton insists the team isn't panicking.

"(There's) no lack of confidence here. If you watched us train at all just then, we're getting back to basics and to what works for us," he said.

"If we play the brand of footy we're capable of and trained out on this paddock for the last couple of months, we'll be in good stead."

A win for the third-placed Rabbitohs would keep them in the hunt for a top-two finish and home final should the Sydney Roosters slip up against Parramatta on Saturday.

A loss - and a Cronulla win - would likely result in a qualifying final against Melbourne.

Should all the top-four sides take care of the business this week, South Sydney will face fierce rivals the Sydney Roosters in a dream match-up in the first week of the finals.
