Heathrow baggage handlers' special tribute to Freddie Mercury

The baggage team at Heathrow Airport have performed Queen hit ‘I want to break free’ in yellow jackets and mustaches in honour of frontman Freddie Mercury.

Freddie Mercury would have been 72 this year. He worked as a baggage handler at Heathrow airport before joining Queen in 1971 and becoming one of British music’s most influential figures.

It took “In honor of our ex-colleague we’ve got this dance routine going, you’ll love it!”

In the clip baggage handlers are welcoming travelers at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 as they performed the iconic song with their own suitcases.

According to NME magazine, British Airways passengers with the name Freddie, Frederick or the singer’s birthday name, Farrokh, also had the chance to enjoy the First lounge.

In addition to the dance, Heathrow will mark the late singer’s 72nd birthday by featuring Queen songs on its arrival boards.
