Forecasters have issued a severe weather warning for heavy rainfall in south Queensland.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued the warning on Sunday, predicting a deep trough extending from about Richmond to Bollon would shift slowly east over the interior of the state in coming hours.
It warns rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected over the central and southern interior from the west with falls of up to 100mm possible over next 12 hours for the Maranoa, Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt districts.
