Tall Blacks coach Paul Henare will coach the New Zealand Breakers next NBL season, while former teammate Dillon Boucher has been named general mananger of the reigning champions.

Assistant coach Henare will step up from his current role to replace head coach Dean Vickerman at the end of this season.

Vickerman has been head coach for three years.

Boucher, also a former Tall Black, retired from the Breakers' playing roster three years ago and has worked since then as the club's commercial manager.

He replaces long-serving general manager Richard Clarke, who is moving on to a new role with the Brisbane Bullets as they return to the NBL next season.
