Australia's Su Oh has finished fifth as Brooke Henderson coasted to a five-shot victory at the storm-hit New Zealand women's Open on Monday.
Henderson carded a three-under 69 on the final day at the Windross Farm course near Auckland to end on 17-under overall, claiming her second LPGA Tour victory of the season and fifth overall.
The 20-year-old Canadian led by four shots after six holes when the final round was suspended on Sunday after a day of heavy rain, high wind and threatened lightning strikes.
She returned on Monday morning to easily hold off China's Jing Yan.
Oh signed for a final-round one-under 71 to finish tied for fifth at nine-under while South Korea's Hee Young Park (69) was third at 11-under and American Jennifer Song (68) fourth at 10-under.
New Zealand star Lydia Ko closed with a double bogey and triple bogey for a 75 to tie for 22nd at five-under.
"I was feeling pretty comfortable out there and I was just trying to keep it at minus 17 as long as I could," Henderson said after receiving the trophy, $US195,000 ($A248,000) winner's cheque and a ceremonial feather cloak presented by indigenous Maori.
"I had a couple of bogeys but made a lot of birdies and it was probably some of the best golf I've played in a while.
"I'm super excited to win outside North America for the first time and glad it could be here in New Zealand."
The weather remained troublesome on Monday with strong wind making low scoring difficult. Henderson mastered the conditions, birdieing three of the first five holes and turning for home five shots clear.
