Hills, known for its iconic rotating clothesline, is continuing to grow and diversify, striking two new deals in the health and communications sectors.
The maker of the Hills Hoist has signed a long-term deal to supply satellite dishes and associated technology to pay TV company Foxtel.
The deal broadens an existing contract with Foxtel to also include regional areas as well as cities.
Hills on Friday also announced it had acquired healthcare group Questek.
Questek makes nurse call and general healthcare monitoring systems.

Hills shares had jumped 9.0 cents, or 5.3 per cent, to $1.79 by 1130 AEDT.
Earlier this week, Hills acquired the OPS security business, became a distributor for US security firm Interlogix and recently collected $80 million after selling two steel businesses to BlueScope Steel.
The company's managing director Ted Pretty this week said the sale completed Hills' transition from a manufacturing and steel sector company to an integrated provider of technology and communications solutions.
