HK develops tiny drone with camera

Hong Kong developers have devised a tony 6cm long drone with a camera that can trasnmit from a distance of 30 metres.

A Hong Kong-based company, Playable Creation, has developed a tiny, 6cm long drone equipped with photo and video camera, which will be unveiled at the Computer and Communications Festival in Hong Kong from August 19 to 22.

The device, four to five times smaller and lighter than conventional drones, can send images from up to a distance of 30 metres and connect to virtual reality glasses, reported the daily South China Morning Post, or SCMP.

The mini drone also comes equipped with a 300,000 megapixel camera that boasts of a 480p video quality.

According to SCMP, the device is set to be the highlight of the fair that is being held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai this year.
