Brad Hogg is showing no sign of slowing down as the veteran Australian spinner produced another masterful performance on the opening weekend of the Indian Premier League.
The 45-year-old was almost unplayable on the Eden Park wicket, taking 3-19 to help his Kolkata Knight Riders to a nine-wicket win over the Dehli Daredevils.
"There were dry patches there as well as the grass and it added that natural variation," Hogg said of the wicket.
"So if you got it on the grass it skidded on and if you got it on the dry patch it turned.
"When you've got a wicket like that when you don't know what's going to happen at the other end, god knows what the batsman's thinking."

Hogg beat Pawan Negi in flight to have him stumped, before he drew edges from both Sanju Samson and Indian Test spinner Amit Mishra in his four-over spell.
He was well backed-up by fellow Australian John Hastings, who took 2-6 as the Daredevils were bowled out for 98.
Australian limited over quick Nathan Coulter-Nile had little impact with the ball for Dehli, taking 0-32 off four overs as Kolkata chased down the target with almost six over to spare.
