Holden ploughs through Perth home

A car has crashed into a Perth home after an electrical failure caused the steering wheel to lock and brakes fail.

A 28-year-old driver could do nothing to stop his car from crashing into a Perth home after an electrical fault caused his steering and brakes to fail.

The car ploughed through the front pillar of a home in Tuart Hill in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police said neither the driver of the Holden Commodore, his passenger or the home occupants were injured in the crash and no charges would be laid.
