Sonic Healthcare's UK joint-venture, Health Services Laboratories, has been awarded a contract to provide pathology and laboratory services to two London hospitals.
Sonic says the 12-year contract to provide services to the Barnet Hospital and the Chase Farm Hospital will generate more than GBP12 million ($A20 million) in annual revenue for Health Services Laboratories.
"HSL continues to grow, and we are excited by the pipeline of further potential National Health Services customers," Health Services Laboratories chief executive David Byrne said in a statement on Tuesday.
Sonic shares were down four cents, or 0.19 per cent, at $21.08 at 1015 AEST.
