Housing prices rose 0.3% last week

Adelaide home prices surged 1.3 per cent last week, while Perth and Brisbane home prices slumped despite the number of listings falling 9.5 per cent nationally.

Capital city home prices rose 0.3 last week with the number of new listings continuing to fall.

The total number of listings fell 9.5 per cent in the week ending January 22, compared to the prior corresponding period, property market analytics firm CoreLogic said.

Adelaide home prices surged 1.3 per cent last week, while Perth home values slumped 1.0 per cent.
