How badly southeast Qld has been drenched?

Rainfall of more than 600mm has fallen in parts of southeast Queensland, leading to major flood warnings for northern Gold Coast suburbs.

RAINFALL IN QUEENSLAND'S SOUTHEAST (in the 24 hours to 9am AEST Friday):

Springbrook, Gold Coast hinterland - 602mm

Upper Tallebudgera, Gold Coast hinterland - 399mm

Beaudesert - 283mm

Jimboomba - 187mm

Brisbane city - 132mm

Ipswich - 120mm

Caloundra, Sunshine Coast - 106mm

Flood levels in the Albert River peaked close to record flood levels and flood levels in the Logan River are generally the highest since 1974.
