In video footage that quickly went viral, the camera operator, Petra Laszlo of N1TV, is seen tripping a man sprinting with a child in his arms, and kicking another running child in two separate incidents.
Footage from the camerawoman's perspective later appeared on N1TV, an internet-based TV station close to Hungary's far-right Jobbik party.

The N1TV editor-in-chief Szabolcs Kisberk described Laszlo's actions as unacceptable and said her contract had been terminated with immediate effect.

"An N1TV colleague today behaved in an unacceptable way at the Roszke collection point," said a statement from Kisberk posted on the channel's Facebook page later.
