The Hungarian government has proposed the introduction of a special tax

on food products and drinks which contain salt or sugar in excessive quantities, Reuters reports.

The tax has already been labelled as a 'chocolate' or 'chips' tax and is expected to be approved

by parliament in the coming weeks.
