I don't owe Jeff Horn anything: Kambosos

Rising Aussie boxer George Kambosos Jr has invited Jeff Horn to sort out their differences in the ring if he has a problem with him serving as Manny Pacquiao's sparring partner.

Horn said earlier this month he was disappointed the 24-year-old didn't get in contact before accepting an invitation to join the Filipino great's training team ahead of Sunday's 'Battle of Brisbane'.

Unbeaten Sydney product Kambosos, the WBA's No.7-ranked lightweight, had his final sparring session with Pacquiao on Monday night.

"At the end of the day, I don't owe Jeff shit," Kambosos told AAP after the session.

"If Jeff's still got a bit of a grudge after the fight and we can come sort it out, maybe in the ring.

"Two divisions, no problem.

"I don't owe Jeff nothing.

"I know he's a schoolteacher and likes to play by the rules but I come from a different background, I take my opportunities when they come.

"You can't miss an opportunity like this."

Kambosos worked through 45 rounds in total with Pacquiao across the 11-time world champion's preparation - including four on Monday night - and said he was 100 per cent ready to go for Sunday, predicting he will knock Horn out by the sixth round.

Pacquiao, 38, has not stopped an opponent in eight years but twice knocked down his other sparring partner, Mexican Adrian Young, last week, and Kambosos claims to have helped him rediscover his power and aggression.

"Manny's back," Kambosos said.

"We've been pushing each other real hard. That was the whole thing about me being there, to bring out the aggression from a young, hungry fighter that's coming up the ranks - just like Jeff is."

Kambosos, who expects to be booed by the Suncorp Stadium crowd for helping an overseas fighter plot the downfall of a fellow Aussie, reckons there is too much on the line for Pacquiao to leave room for any sort of lapse against Horn.

"He knows what's at stake here. A loss to Jeff Horn is the end of the road for the great Manny Pacquiao. He can't make no mistakes," he said.

"He has to make a big statement.

"It'll open up bigger doors for him - fights like (Floyd) Mayweather, the rematch, some other big names.

"The sparring and training we've done together, that's got a lot to do with it. He's fully focused on the job."
