IAEA 'needs more money' to increase monitoring of Iran

The United Nations' nuclear monitor, the International Atomic Energy Agency says it needs more money if it is to keep a check on Iran's nuclear program.

The United Nations' nuclear monitor, the International Atomic Energy Agency says it needs more money if it is to keep a check on Iran's nuclear program.

The agency is stepping up its monitoring and verifying work in Iran as part of an interim agreement restricting nuclear activities that could have military uses.

A special meeting of the IAEA board is being held in Vienna this week.

SBS correspodent Kerry Skyring is in Vienna following the situation.
