Siri ships all information used through its service to a big data centre in Maiden, North Carolina.
"All of this data is used to help Siri and dictation understand you better and recognize what you say. It is not linked to other data that Apple may have from your use of other Apple services," the Siri user agreement states.

But IBM is not taking any chances with its company information.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) expressed similar concerns over Siri's use of private information.
In a March statement the ACLU said: "Apple's Siri 'personal assistant' isn't just working for us, it's working full-time for Apple too by sending lots of our personal voice and user info to Apple to stockpile in its databases."
