Ice ring suspect nabbed at Sydney Airport

An alleged drug trafficker will face court in Sydney on Monday with the prospect of extradition to Queensland.

Queensland authorities are attempting to have an alleged ice trafficker extradited from NSW after he was arrested in Sydney over the weekend.

The 35-year-old man was arrested at Sydney International Airport on Saturday as he tried to leave the country after Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission issued a warrant for his arrest.

The man, who is accused of being involved in a Queensland criminal syndicate that produced and distributed crystal methylamphetamine in Sydney and the Gold Coast, will face Sydney Central Court on Monday.
