A video released online purporting to show opposition fighters advancing on the village of Khan Arnabeh, near the eastern border crossing of Quneitra.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is warning of an increase in the number of internally displaced persons in Syria's southwest.

The ICRC says it's providing emergency relief for more than 50 thousand Syrian people forced to flee their homes in Quneitra.

It says clashes between government forces and the armed opposition in the area have intensified in recent days.

The fighting in Quneitra has led to more than 25,000 residents arriving in nearby Qatana, a rural town in the capital Damascus.

The ICRC's Simon Schorno is in Damascus and spoke to Zara Zaher about the latest unrest.
