Iggy Azalea forced to stop crowd surfing

Iggy Azalea stops crowd surfing due to unwanted sexual contact.

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has been forced to stop crowd surfing at her concerts after fans tried to grope her.

Azalea told New York radio station Hot 97 that security has been upgraded at her gigs, including erecting barriers, because fans try to touch her inappropriately.

"The crazy thing is, girls will try and do it the most," Azalea said during the interview.

Fans have also posted inappropriate comments on Twitter about trying to grope the rapper while she crowd surfs.

"I'll see it and be like, 'Please don't! That's a violation. I don't actually like that stuff'," Azalea said.

The 23-year-old revealed she now wears two pairs of underwear and skin-coloured tights while performing.

Azalea releases her debut album The New Classic on Friday.

The album has already been released in Europe and the US.
