Speculation linking Mike Mulvey with rival A-League clubs has been dismissed as just that by the Brisbane Roar coach.
Mulvey - contracted at the Roar until the end of next season - said he wanted to stay at Brisbane for "many years to come" after it emerged Sydney FC and Perth Glory were considering tempting him with a lucrative 2014-15 deal.
"I don't deal in speculation," Mulvey said.
"I deal in fact, and the fact is I am Brisbane Roar's head coach and want to be here for many years to come."
In his first full season at the helm, Mulvey has steered Brisbane seven points clear on top of the A-League ladder - enough for Sydney FC and Perth Glory to consider poaching the former Gold Coast United interim coach.
At Perth, interim coach Kenny Lowe has inspired just two wins in nine games since taking over from the dumped Alistair Edwards in December.
And Frank Farina will only retain his Sydney FC job if the Sky Blues - currently sixth - finish the season in the top four.
Mulvey did not sound like a man going anywhere on Wednesday.
"We have a long term plan here and we are acting on it," he said.
"There are tremendous strides being made off the field which will become evident as time goes by.
"We want to see ourselves as a big club within Asia not just Australia.
"I am proud of our achievements thus far but I am not satisfied."
Mulvey said his main concern was bouncing back from last round's shock 1-0 home loss to Newcastle Jets when they line up against a resurgent Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park on Sunday.
That will be easier said than done against a Heart side that thrashed Wellington last round 5-0 in New Zealand.
But Mulvey said a "brutally honest" video session of the Jets game and confirmation Socceroo Matt McKay (ankle) would play against the Heart would help them rebound.
"The level of expectancy has gone through the roof. We can live with that but we need to keep delivering," Mulvey said of the ladder leaders.
"They (Heart) have had a change of coach and personnel and pace to burn up front.
"It's going to be an exciting game because we are going down there to attack. We just need to be better organised."
