Controversial anti-vaccine campaigner Sherri Tenpenny posted an image of a woman holding his hand over her mouth with a caption claiming vaccinations are "forced penetration".
The image had previously been posted on the Facebook page of the Australian Vaccination Skeptics Network, but has since been deleted.
The image, posted on Ms Tenpenny’s Facebook page, has been liked by 1100 people and shared more than 280 times.
The page has more than 131,000 fans and the photo has already attracted comments such as “best one yet”.
Ms Tenpenny made headlines in Australia in January, when she cancelled her Australian tour due to what she alleged to be 'safety and security' concerns.
She had planned to visit Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane alongside fellow campaigner Stephanie Messenger to share her views that vaccines are linked to autism, asthma and auto-immune diseases.
The overwhelming majority of scientific and medical evidence supports the benefits of vaccines. In 2014, a major international review found no evidence linking the development of autism with commonly-used vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough.
In March last year, the Australian Vaccination-Skeptics Network lost its charity status over concerns it could adversely affect children's health. The group was also forced to insert the word "skeptics" into their name over claims their title was misleading.
