In-form 'Dog hurt in AFL

The Western Bulldogs have lost another defender, with Jason Johannisen's hamstring injury meaning he joins Bob Murphy on the sidelines.

In-form Western Bulldogs defender Jason Johannisen has limped off with a hamstring injury in Saturday night's AFL match against Carlton.

Johannisen kicked a goal from outside 50m early in the third quarter to boost the Bulldogs' healthy lead but immediately clutched his right leg.

It comes a week after the Bulldogs lost captain and fellow defender Bob Murphy for the rest of the season with a knee injury that will need a reconstruction.
