Tourists and lawmakers were thrown into panic on Wednesday in Westminster, London, as an attacker drove into pedestrians and rammed a fence near the UK parliament.

Images from the scene show an MP attending to a victim, heavily armed police flooding the scene and workers evacuating the area.
