As the countdown to the London Olympics continues, businesses operating in the shadow of the stadium have been left wondering what's in it for them, SBS correspondent Brian Thomson reports.
Lance Forman's family has been smoking salmon in the east end of London for more than 100 years.
One year prior to the announcement that London would host these games he moved his premises into the heart of what is now the centre of the Olympic complex.
As soon as London was chosen he was told he would have to move again, but the paltry compensation he was offered resulted in a 4 year long legal battle before he finally reached a deal with the authorities.
