Indigenous runners to compete in City to Surf

Sunday's City to Surf will give 12 Indigenous runners a taste of how the New York Marathon will feel.

Over 85,000 people will take part in Sydney's iconic marathon the City to Surf this Sunday.

While security concerns in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing have overshadowed the event, for 12 Indigenous athletes, the 14-kilometre race will be a stepping stone towards something far bigger, the New York Marathon, which will be held on November 3.
