Indonesian election: Showdown looms between Jokowi, Prabowo

Indonesian elections are never dull but the campaigning in the lead up to tomorrow's poll seems to have gripped the nation like never before.

The frontrunner is Joko Widodo who's better known as Jokowi-a man seen as a cleanskin with a no nonsense style.

But his main challenger, Prabowo Subianto, is catching up fast and the election is now a much tighter contest than it was just a few weeks ago.

Dateline's David O'Shea has been on the campaign trail in Indonesia.

He told Greg Dyett the surge in support for Prabowo Subianto reflects his longstanding determination to become Indonesia's next president.
