Adelaide forward Charlie Cameron could miss all of the AFL pre-season competition because of a knee injury.

The 21-year-old had surgery on a knee and will be sidelined for about four weeks, the Crows say.

But Cameron is expected to be available for Adelaide's premiership season-opener in late March, the Crows' fitness coach Brett Burton says.
