Perth Scorchers skipper Adam Voges is confident his injured finger won't hinder him during the BBL finals after managing to produce a match-winning display against the Adelaide Strikers.

Voges scored an unbeaten 56 off 45 balls to guide the Scorchers to a four-wicket victory with three balls to spare at the WACA Ground on Thursday night.

The result secured top spot for the Scorchers, meaning they will host the title decider if they can win next Thursday's home semi-final at Perth's Optus Stadium.

Voges had struggled to fire this BBL season, but he saved his best performance against the Strikers in the top-of-the-table clash

And it was all done with a sore right index finger that required heavy strapping and a pre-match injection.

"I dislocated it at training (on Wednesday) trying to catch a ball," Voges said.

"It's a little bit sore. But I got an injection in it, and it's fine. No worries.

"Hopefully (I don't need an injection before the semi-final). But if I do, then I know I can bat with it, so it's no worries."

The Scorchers' semi-final will be played at Perth's new Optus Stadium, with 55,000 fans set to attend.

The Scorchers have been a powerhouse at the WACA Ground, and Voges said it will take some time to adjust to their new home venue

"It's a little bit of an unknown," Voges said.

"We've played a couple of practice games there, and we've had a few training sessions.

"But look, it's not the WACA. Fortunately we can get another 30,000 fans through the door, so hopefully they can help us a bit."

Voges said he would take a close look at the ODI between Australia and England at the venue on Sunday to see how the pitch plays.

The Scorchers will lose Ashton Agar to international duties for the BBL finals, but will regain allrounder Mitch Marsh and opener Shaun Marsh (quad).
