South Africa says fast bowler Dale Steyn should be available for the final two Tests of the series against England after missing the drawn second match in Cape Town because of a shoulder injury.

Fellow paceman Kyle Abbott should also return from a hamstring injury, having been unavailable at Newlands.

South Africa selected on Friday an unchanged 16-man squad for the third Test in Johannesburg and the fourth tTest at Centurion, with Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris retained after filling in for Steyn and Abbott in Cape Town.

AB de Villiers will captain the side after Hashim Amla stood down from the role.

England leads the series 1-0.
