There are reports 12 adults and two children were injured after a gas explosion near a Chinatown food court in Sydney's CBD.

According to Seven News, a gas leak caused a blast with a force strong enough to blow-out the loading dock door.
The food court above the dock was evacuated. Four people were transported to hospital, others receiving treatment at the scene.
According to Channel Nine, a child was struck by a piece of flying metal.
