Sydney forward Gary Rohan has suffered another injury setback and will miss at least the first few weeks of the AFL season.
The Swans have put the 24-year-old on their long-term injury list because of a persistent hamstring problem.
They hope he will return to playing by May.
"Gary has been battling a hamstring problem for a number of weeks and has missed a critical portion of his pre-season preparation," Swans football manager Tom Harley said.
"As a result, he will need at least another eight weeks' preparation before he can resume playing so, for now, he will continue his rehab.
