The Warriors will be without prolific winger David Fusitu'a for Friday night's NRL match against North Queensland in Townsville.

Competition leading try-scorer Fusitu'a has succumbed to an ankle injury which ruled him out of the clash with the Cowboys.

It is a blow for the fourth-placed Kiwi club, with the Tongan international having bagged a hat-trick in last week's win over Manly to boost his tally to 15 tries from 13 games.

Fusitu'a's place on the right wing will go to the versatile Gerard Beale.

Captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck passed a fitness test and will return at fullback after missing the 34-14 defeat of the Sea Eagles.
