Inquiries continue into fatal NSW shooting

Investigations into the shooting deaths of two men in the NSW south coast town of Nimmitabel will continue over the weekend.

Investigations are continuing into the deaths of two men that have left the small NSW community of Nimmitabel reeling.

Ben Green was shot dead and his brother Hubert suffered a minor gunshot wound after an argument with an intruder escalated in the south coast town before dawn on Friday.

Ben, 32, died at the scene while Hubert, 28, suffered a flesh wound as he was trying to get away in his car.

Police say the 58-year-old intruder was later found dead with gunshot wounds to his head in his car in a Nimmitabel backstreet.

They say his death doesn't appear suspicious.

Inquiries will continue over the weekend.
