Members of the Catholic and Jewish community talk to SBS about the significance of Mary MacKillop's canonisation, and what it means for religion in Australia.

Outspoken Catholic priest, Father Daniel Donovan, tells SBS Mary herself would be shocked by the commercialisation of the process, saying she would have found better uses for the money used in the canonisation and beatification process.

Rabbi at Sydney's Great Synagogue, Jeremy Lawrence, says all Australians, not just Catholics, can benefit from having a godly person as a role model.
