Both Henin and Clijsters were forced to dig seep to win three-set quarterfinals yesterday but are still favoured to meet in Saturday's final.

Men's top seed Andy Roddick will play France's Richard Gasquet tonight for a place in the semi-finals against the winner of the Tomas Berdych-Thomas Bellucci quarter-final.

The other semi-final on Saturday will feature defending champion Radek Stepanek against third seed Gael Monfils.
