Federal police have decided not to launch a formal investigation into Nationals MP George Christensen for posting a photo of himself on Facebook holding a handgun with the caption: "Do you feel lucky, greenie punks?"
The AFP looked into the controversial social media post after Greens Leader Richard Di Natale brought it to their attention on February 18.
"The AFP has undertaken an assessment of this matter and determined that no further action will be taken," an AFP spokeswoman said on Friday.
